I am obsessed with Vegas, and now Sage is following in my footsteps. Thrown into it at a young age!! Playing blackjack, poker, roulette, and yes even knew the game of craps. I was I was 6 years old in this picture sporting the Dorothy Hamilton haircut. I was winning from the looks of my pile of chips!! This is at our house where casino nights were all to familiar!! Just got back from our annual Vegas trip lots of pictures to share!!!
The girls and I have a secret up on that mountain.... it is the Coach store and Claires!! We score some great deals in those two stores, mainly because nobody really knows they are there! It is well worth the 35 mile drive up the mountain to Lake Arrowhead... We have a routine we eat lunch on the lake, dip our feet in the water sitting on the docks, feed the ducks, play on the swings at the park, and shopping at out two favorite stores!!
This weekend we went fishing on the other side of the lake in Big Bear....another steep hike just to get down by the water...worked on my tan and had a relaxing day!
I took a few pictures of Sage and her little hands. She always has a rubber band around her wrist to tame that wild hair. We recently cut of over 12 inches and donated it to Locks of Love but she still wears the rubber band...habit I guess!!
Captured some summer pictures of the girls....
these pictures really captured their personalities to a T !!! Sage looking like Peter Pan ready for an adventure...Sydney the performer, and Sam the simple beauty.... I never asked them to pose this is what they did on their own...it couldn't have been more perfect!
this little man is getting so big now..sitting up all by himself and crawling too
we know someday this kid is going to be a middle linebacker for now he is working on his football face...
Finally figuring out the controls on my camera....
Plenty more from our visit I will save those for a layout!! I have some ideas for a girly photo shoot with my neices and my girls...check back soon!
This summer has flown by.... here are some of our events within the last week
Grandfather celebrated a milestone birthday...we enjoyed everyone's company and feasted on Buca's and homemade birthday cakes! This special pictures is of all his great-grandchildren (yes they are all girls!!) My grandfather also has quite the green thumb and those were veggies from his garden.
With 37 grandkids & great grandkids this was just a few of us.
This is not a unusual size veggie for my grandfathers garden! Sage spotted this one and picked it.
Now these are grapes from our backyard!! For those of you that have been to my house know that to the west of me is all vineyards, I can hop my fence and go pick some grapes!! I think Fillipi Winerywould have me arrested butit is there for the picking if I could get away with it. We have ivy that covers our block wall in the backyard sometimes we don't know what is going on underneath that ivy...we havehad strawberries, pumpkins, and now grapes! Never planted them but we are welcoming them with open arms! The kids have enjoyed picking them and munching on them as well!! This is what Cliff brought in the other night!
And now for the most exciting news!! Sydney our dancer has made her dance studio's dance team!! If you have gone to her recitals you know the level of this dance team...they have won national titles, and compete all over the US... She is a proud member of Studio Elite's Havik Jr. Hip Hop dance team!! If any of you watch Keeping Up with the Kardashian's her dance teacher/owner was in the episode where the mom tries out for the Sparks dance team??...Her teacher is the choreographer...so much talent Sydney is so lucky to have her as a teacher. Can't wait to update you with dance info!!
Typepad so graciously allowed me to upload Some pictures...not my most favorite ones but these are the only ones it kept up without deleating.... all in all it was a great camping trip. We hiked into all the lakes and ponds...one really kicked our butts uphill all they way at 9000 elevation and up...it was worth the view when we reached it. The kids enjoyed night fishing, smores, and the water. We made it through rain, hail, flashfloods, and a mudslide...yeah I'm not talking about the drink either! See above picture we just narrowly missed this...
